When this whole #PSL craze began years ago, I did not count myself amongst the millions of fans. I loved fall, sweater weather, warm flavours, but not pumpkin spice anything. Not pumpkin pie, pumpkin loaf, or pumpkin spice lattes. Then, one morning, I woke up, and something changed. Overnight, it seems, I developed a taste for all things pumpkin. And so, the basic-ness in me revealed itself, and of that basic-ness comes this really tasty, creamy, and delicious oatmeal recipe. Enjoy!

There is something special about a gorgeous dish that can be prepared in 5 minutes. This is precisely one of those dishes. It takes basic ingredients that I generally have on hand, and very little effort to put together. So… I think we know what you’re making for breakfast this weekend!

I love breakfast. And brunch. And all things related. But I know how easy it is to get stuck in a breakfast rut where you’re bored of what you’re eating (hard-boiled eggs 5 days in a row… no thank you), or skip it altogether when you’re very busy or running late. That said, I do try to make sure I’m having something filling, satisfying, and usually nutritious before I start my day.
